Act for a new cashet and to mark wrytes till it be made
The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Doe authorize and allow Mr Alexander Inglis Depute Keeper and Appender his Majesties great seall To Imploy James Clerk Graver in his Majesties Mint to make a Cashett with his Majesties name for subscribing all signatures Gifts and other papers that shall be past in Exchequer And Recommends to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaurie to Cause satisfie the said James Clerk for doing therof and in the mean tyme they appoynte and allow the said Alexander Inglis as depute keeper of the Great seall to mark the forsaid signaturs and wrytes till the Cashet be made For doing of all which This shall be to him and all who shall be therin concerned a sufficient warrand Sic subscribitur Tueeddale Cancell Douglass Craufurd Mortoune Leiven Stair Raith Ruthven Ballfour John Lauder C Cambell John Lauder John Maxwell2
