Repryve In favours of Nicolas Lamb

His Grace her Majesties high Commissioner and Lords of her Majesties privie Councell, Doe heirby Repryve Nicolas Lamb Sentenced to death for murdering her own Child from wednsday the thretteinth day of November instant to the second day wednsday of January nixt to come, and discharges the said sentence of death to be putt in execution against her untill the said day, and appoynts and ordains the Magistrats of Edinburgh to see and cause the Sentence of death pronunced against the said Nicolas, be putt in execution upon the said second wednsday of January nixt att the Same place and in the Same maner Contained in the Sentence of Justiciary Sic Subscribitur Queensberrie Commissioner Seafeild Cancellar. Argyll. Mar S. Mortoun. Bellcarres. Forfar. Glasgow. Northesk. Hay. William Anstruther.

Reprieve in favour of Nicolas Lamb

His grace [James Douglas, duke of Queensberry] her majesty’s high commissioner and lords of her majesty’s privy council do hereby reprieve Nicolas Lamb, sentenced to death for murdering her own child, from Wednesday 13 November instant to the second day Wednesday of January next to come, and discharge the said sentence of death to be put in execution against her until the said day, and appoint and ordain the magistrates of Edinburgh to see and cause the sentence of death pronounced against the said Nicolas be put in execution upon the said second Wednesday of January next at the same place and in the same manner contained in the sentence of justiciary. Sic Subscribitur Queensberry commissioner; Seafield chancellor; Argyll; Mar secretary; Morton; Balcarres; Forfar; Glasgow; Northesk; Hay; William Anstruther.
