Warrand for delivering up the Earl of Homes bond.

Their Majesties high Commissioner and the Lords of privy Councill Doe heirby give order and warrand to the Clerks of privy Councill to give up to the Earl of Home the bond given be him and his Cautioners for his peacable behavior and appear when called for Under the penaltie of one Thousand punds sterling dated the threttein and sixtein dayes of Jully Jaj vjc nyntie two years In Respect he is presently prisoner in the castle of Edinburgh.

Their Majesties High Commissioner and Lords of privie Counsell Doe Heirby Give ordor and uarrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of their tolbooth To Sett at Liberty furth therof Andrew Ediesone taylior in Edinburgh […] Mathiesone […] and Pass Sungall a Blackmair who were all Imprisoned for being at the tumult in Edinburgh in the month of March last by past Each of the saids persones first Giving bond and finding sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councell That they shall Live peacably under and uith all submissione to the present government of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary And that they shall not Act consult or Contryve any thing in prejudice therof And that they shall not Converss or Correspond uith any rebells nor be present at tumults and that they shall appear when called for each of them under the penaltie of five Hundred merks scotts a pece In caise any of them transgress In any part of the premisses

The uhich day […] Edmonstoune of Ednem and […] Glaidstones of that ilk who were seased by a pairtie and brought to the Counsell barr Being requyred to suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the Assurance to their Majesties appoynted by Act of parliament And having refuised Their Majesties High Commissioner and Lords of privie Councell Doe Heirby ordaine them to be Carryed prisoners to the tolbooth of the Cannongate And Recommends to Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander if cheiff of their Majesties forces uithin this kingdome To Cause transport them from the said tolbooth under a sufficient guaird to the Castle of Blackness And ordaines the Magistrats of Edinburgh Baillies of the Cannongate and keeper of their tolbooth to delyver them to And Recommends to the Earle of Linlithgow Governour of the said castle of Blackness And ordaines the Deputie Governour or nixt Commanding officer ther to receave the saids Lairds of Ednem and Gladstones from the said guaird and detaine them prisoners in the said castle till farder ordor of Councell

Proclamation

Proclamatione appoynting persones to administrat the oath of alleadgance and Assurance

A proclamatione nominating persones to administrat the oath of alleadgance and assurance to such as by Act of parliament are to suear and signe the same before ther Lords of privy Councell Thesaury or exchequer or such as they shall appoynte Being redd and severall amendements made the same was votted approven and appoynted to be recorded quherof the tenor folloues
William and Mary By the Grace of God King and Queen of great Brittaine France and Ireland defenders of the faith To […] Macers of our privie messengers at armes our shirreffs in that part conjunctlly and severally specially Constitut Greeting Forasmuchas by ane Act past in our present parliament upon the tuenty third day of May currant The severall degrees and sorts of persones therin mentioned are appoynted to suear and sign the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance betuixt and the tuenty day of June nixt to Come And to the effect such of the saids persones as were to take the said oath and signe the assurance before the Lords of our privie Counsell or such as they shall appoynte may have certain knouledge of the persones before whom and the dyets and places quher they are to suear and subscribe the said oath of alleadgance and signe the assurance and therby may repaire to the saids planes and Give due and tymous obedience to the forsaid Act of parliament Therfore ue uith advyce of the Lords of our privie Counsell requyre and Command all noblemen and their eldest sones Living uithin tuenty five mylls of Edinburgh to Compear before the Lords of our privie Councell or any tuo of them uith one of the Clarks of Councell betuixt and the tuenty day of June nixt And all other noblemen and their eldest sones Living at a Greater distance uithin this kingdome betuixt and the day forsaid To Compear before the shirreffs of the shyres steuarts of steuartries Baillies of Regalites or Bailliaries wher they live or their deputes and their respective Clarks and tuo of the Commissioners of supply uithin the said shire mett togither and in case ther be none of these Then in presence of three of the Commissioners of supply and their Clark and suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance subjoyned to the said Act of parliament And ue uith advyce forsaid requyre and Command the saids shirreffs their deputes Commissioners and others forsaids to meet at the head burghs of the severall shires the threttienth day of June nixt And to adjurne and Continow their meeting from tyme to tyme untill the said tuenty of June therafter That all who house of Edinburgh upon the said threttienth day of June nixt for the first dyet And in their presence suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance subjoyned to the said Act of parliament upon any day betuixt and the tuenty of June nixt to Come And uee uith advyce forsaid appoynte the Conservator of the priviledges of this kingdome residing In the Nether Lands to suear and signe the said oath and subscribe the assurance In his owns Courte and all factors of the staple port before the said Conservator betuixt and the fifteenth day of Agust nixt all nottars Living in Landuard before the shirreff or their deputes Baillies of regalities and Bailliaries steuarts of steuartries or their Deputes and ther respective Clarks and quher none of these are before three Commissioners of assessment and their Clark and all Nottars Living uithin burgh of royaltie regality or steuartry In presence of the magistrats therof and their Clarks The Commanders of all forts and garrisons before the Councell and the officers under them before the saids respective Commanders All wryters and under keepers to the privie seall Before the Lord privy seall all postmasters and their Clarks before the magistrats of burghs forsaids shirreffs of shyres Baillies of regality or Bailliary or stewarts of stewartries and their deputs and clarks wher the saids postmasters and clarks duell and that betuixt and the said tuenty day of June nixt all Chamberlands Collectors Fermorers tacksemen and subcollectors of the Croune rents customes excyse and Bishop rents surveyers waiters and their Clarks uithin the three Louthians before the Lords of Thesaury or Exchequer or any tuo of them And in2 all other places of the Kingdome before the shirreff of the shyres Baillies of Bailliaries and regalities steuarts of steuartries or their deputes or magistrats of burghs or their Clarks respective uithin whose bounds they reside betuixt and the day forsaid all Jaylors and keepers of prisones and under keepers and their Clarks before the magistrats of their respective burghs betuixt and the said day All masters of shipps and their mates before the Lord High Admirall the Judge of the admiralty or deputes of the respective bounds wher they reside att any tyme before they saile furth of this kingdome And to the effect all ministers preachers of the gospel and all Clerks in Church Judicatures and precenters and all masters and doctors of universities Colledges or schools and keepers of publict liberaries all Chaplains in families and pedagogues and governours3 to children or youth may uith the less distractione to severall functiones and Imployments have their opportunity to testifie their deuty to us By suearing and signing the said oath of alleadgance and subscribing the assurance Ue uith advyce of the Lords of our privie Councell Have nominated and appoynted and heirby nominats and appoyntes the particular persons afternamed in the severall shires respective underwryten to administrat the said oath and assurance to the severall persones forsaids uithin their respective Jurisdictiones Requyring and Commanding the saids persones heirby nominat and every of Proclamatione appoynting persones to administrat the oath of alleadgance and Assurance

A proclamatione nominating persones to administrat the oath of alleadgance and assurance to such as by Act of parliament are to suear and signe the same before ther Lords of privy Councell Thesaury or exchequer or such as they shall appoynte Being redd and severall amendements made the same was votted approven and appoynted to be recorded quherof the tenor folloues
William and Mary By the Grace of God King and Queen of great Brittaine France and Ireland defenders of the faith To […] Macers of our privie messengers at armes our shirreffs in that part conjunctlly and severally specially Constitut Greeting Forasmuchas by ane Act past in our present parliament upon the tuenty third day of May currant The severall degrees and sorts of persones therin mentioned are appoynted to suear and sign the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance betuixt and the tuenty day of June nixt to Come And to the effect such of the saids persones as were to take the said oath and signe the assurance before the Lords of our privie Counsell or such as they shall appoynte may have certain knouledge of the persones before whom and the dyets and places quher they are to suear and subscribe the said oath of alleadgance and signe the assurance and therby may repaire to the saids planes and Give due and tymous obedience to the forsaid Act of parliament Therfore ue uith advyce of the Lords of our privie Counsell requyre and Command all noblemen and their eldest sones Living uithin tuenty five mylls of Edinburgh to Compear before the Lords of our privie Councell or any tuo of them uith one of the Clarks of Councell betuixt and the tuenty day of June nixt And all other noblemen and their eldest sones Living at a Greater distance uithin this kingdome betuixt and the day forsaid To Compear before the shirreffs of the shyres steuarts of steuartries Baillies of Regalites or Bailliaries wher they live or their deputes and their respective Clarks and tuo of the Commissioners of supply uithin the said shire mett togither and in case ther be none of these Then in presence of three of the Commissioners of supply and their Clark and suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance subjoyned to the said Act of parliament And ue uith advyce forsaid requyre and Command the saids shirreffs their deputes Commissioners and others forsaids to meet at the head burghs of the severall shires the threttienth day of June nixt And to adjurne and Continow their meeting from tyme to tyme untill the said tuenty of June therafter That all who repaire to them may have the opportunity to suear and signe the said oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance uithout delay And sicklyke ue uith advyce forsaid requyre and Command all members of the Colledge of Justice Advocats Clarks wryters to the signet or others Imployed in wryting or agenting all officers and members of the Chancellary To Compear in presence of the Lord president of the Sessione Sir John Lauder of Hattoune Sir John Lauder of Funtainhall Sir John Baird of Newbyth Sir Colline Campbell of Aberurchill Mr Alexander Suintoune of Mersingtoune Uilliam Anstruther of that ilk and Mr David Home of Crossrig senators of the colledge of Justice or any five of them mett togither uith one of their Clarks whom wee uith adyyce forsaid appoynte to meet uithin the new session house of Edinburgh upon the said threttienth day of June nixt for the first dyet And in their presence suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance subjoyned to the said Act of parliament upon any day betuixt and the tuenty of June nixt to Come And uee uith advyce forsaid appoynte the Conservator of the priviledges of this kingdome residing In the Nether Lands to suear and signe the said oath and subscribe the assurance In his owns Courte and all factors of the staple port before the said Conservator betuixt and the fifteenth day of Agust nixt all nottars Living in Landuard before the shirreff or their deputes Baillies of regalities and Bailliaries steuarts of steuartries or their Deputes and ther respective Clarks and quher none of these are before three Commissioners of assessment and their Clark and all Nottars Living uithin burgh of royaltie regality or steuartry In presence of the magistrats therof and their Clarks The Commanders of all forts and garrisons before the Councell and the officers under them before the saids respective Commanders All wryters and under keepers to the privie seall Before the Lord privy seall all postmasters and their Clarks before the magistrats of burghs forsaids shirreffs of shyres Baillies of regality or Bailliary or stewarts of stewartries and their deputs and clarks wher the saids postmasters and clarks duell and that betuixt and the said tuenty day of June nixt all Chamberlands Collectors Fermorers tacksemen and subcollectors of the Croune rents customes excyse and Bishop rents surveyers waiters and their Clarks uithin the three Louthians before the Lords of Thesaury or Exchequer or any tuo of them And in2 all other places of the Kingdome before the shirreff of the shyres Baillies of Bailliaries and regalities steuarts of steuartries or their deputes or magistrats of burghs or their Clarks respective uithin whose bounds they reside betuixt and the day forsaid all Jaylors and keepers of prisones and under keepers and their Clarks before the magistrats of their respective burghs betuixt and the said day All masters of shipps and their mates before the Lord High Admirall the Judge of the admiralty or deputes of the respective bounds wher they reside att any tyme before they saile furth of this kingdome And to the effect all ministers preachers of the gospel and all Clerks in Church Judicatures and precenters and all masters and doctors of universities Colledges or schools and keepers of publict liberaries all Chaplains in families and pedagogues and governours3 to children or youth may uith the less distractione to severall functiones and Imployments have their opportunity to testifie their deuty to us By suearing and signing the said oath of alleadgance and subscribing the assurance Ue uith advyce of the Lords of our privie Councell Have nominated and appoynted and heirby nominats and appoyntes the particular persons afternamed in the severall shires respective underwryten to administrat the said oath and assurance to the severall persones forsaids uithin their respective Jurisdictiones Requyring and Commanding the saids persones heirby nominat and every of them to meet at the head burgh of their respective shires upon the threttienth day of June nixt to Come And from that to adjurne themselves from tyme to tyme untill the tuenty day of the said month for the Greater opportunity to the saids persons to suear and signe the said oath of alleadgance and subscribe the assurance in their presence and in presence of the Clarks respective above mentioned
