Act
Act Dischargeing all Heretors in the Parliament Closs To rebuild their Lands there and Committy appointed for that Effect
The Lords of his majesties privy Councill, Doe heirby Discharge all persons heretors or owners of any of the Lands in the Parliament Closs or lying adjacent thereto Consumed by the late conflagration or fire To Rebuild or lay any foundation for Rebuilding of the saids Lands in haill or in pairt untill they first make application To and obtain warrand from the Magistrats and Town Councill of Edinburgh for that Effect, And discharges the saids Magistrats and Town Councill To Grant any warrand for rebuilding or founding any pairt of the said Brunt land Even although application Should be made to them untill first they acquaint the Lords of his Majesties privy Councill or their Committy after following and obtain their warrant for that Effect, And nominates and Appointes the Earles of Lauderdale and Lothian, Lords Advocat, Thesaurer Deput, Justice Clerk, Phesdoe, and the present Lord Provost of Edinburgh To be a Committee To meet with the Magistrats of Edinburgh, And to Receave in and adjust such proposalls as Shall be made by the Magistrats and Town Councill anent the Rebuilding of the Said Bruntland or any pairt therof from tyme to tyme, And Recomends To the Said Committy To make their Report to the Councill with their First Conveniency And declares any Three of them a Sufficient quorum.
