Letter from the King To his Commissioners and Councill Adjourning the Parliament

The Letter underwrittin from the King to the Commissioner and Councill Being Read was ordered to be Recorded, whereof the Tenor follows

Right trusty and right Entirely beloved Cousin and Councellor, Right Trusty and Right welbeloved Cousin and Councillor, Right trusty and welbeloved Cousins and Councellors, Right Trusty and welbeloved Councelors and Trusty and welbeloved Councellors, Whereas by our letter dated The Thirteenth day of June Instant, We did Adjourn our Current Parliament to the fourth day of June Instant, We did Adjourn our Current Parliament to the fourth day of July Ensweing. And severall things having occurred Since that tyme, which make it necessary That our said Parliament be further Adjourned, And That the members thereof may not be put To unnecessary Charges and attendance we doe Therfore authorize and Require yow To Issue forth a Proclamation, In our name Adjourning our Parliament from the said Fourth day of July, To the Thirteenth day of August next to Come, And Therfore ordering all the Members therof to attend that day att Edinburgh, in the usual way and upon the accustomed Certificationes, For foing whereof This shall be yowr Warrand, And so we bid yow heartily farewell. Given att our Court at Hampton Court The Twenty Sixth day of June i700 And of our Reign the 12th year. By his Majesties Command Seafeild.
