Recommendation To the Earl of Leven to Cause Fyre the Guns on the Castle and to the Lord Provost of Edinburgh to cause ring the Musick Bells

His Majesties high Commissioner having acquainted the Councill, That he would come up to the Councill Chamber, upon the Kings Birth day betwixt Eleven and Twelve in the Forenoon, and be present at the Solemnity upon the Theater to be Erected at the Cross, The Councill Recommended to the Earle of Leven, Governour and Constable of the Castle of Edinburgh To cause Fyre the Guns of the said Castle at the tyme of the solemnity And Recommended to the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, That he should cause the musick Bells Ring, from the tyme in his Majesties Commissioner Entered the City or Sooner untill Four ackloak in the afternoon That the great Bells begin to Ring.
