Procedure
Recommendation To the Lord Advocat Anent the Relict of the late Bishop of Ross
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Being Informed That Helen Achinmouty Relict of the deceast Mr Young late Bishop of Ross, Is in a mean Conditione And falls not within any of the Classes or Ranks Contained in the act of Parliament made anent the Polemoney, And yet That the Tacksmen of the said polemoney hes caused pound her for payment of the Third of her husbands pole, They heirby Recomend To Sir James Stewart his Majesties Advocat, To call for the said Helen Auchinmouty and to take her oath whither she be within anie of the classes contained in the said act of Palriament anent the Pole And in caice She be not within the same The Councill Recomends to his Lordship to give warrand for redelivering back what was poynded from her upon the accompt forsaid free of all payment of any Charges or Expenses quhatsomever.
