Warrand for horning against the Minister of Balwhither

Their Majesties high Commissioner and Lords of privy Councill Considering that in the Decreet of Councill of the fiftein day of August Jaj vjc Eightie nyne at the instance of Sir John Dalrymple then their majesties advocat against Mr Robert Stewart late minister at Balwhither Depriveing him of his benefice and declareing his Church vaccant And Dischargeing him to preach or exercise any other part of the ministeriall functione within the parish And Ordaineing him to remove frae manse and gleib ther is no warrand for letters to pass on that Decreet In Respect the Clerks of Councill hade no signet nor warrand for their subscriptiones supplieing the want of a signet at that time Therfore they heirby Ordaine letters of horning on Fiftein dayes and other executions to be direct inform as effeirs upon the said decreet And gives order and warrand to the Clerks of Councill to subscribe and give out the Same.

Their Majesties high Commissioner and Lords of privy Councill being informed that ther are some vessell or vessells readie to saill from the ports or harbours of […] in this kingdome to their Majesties plantationes in the Indies They heirby Recommend to the Lord Advocat to visit the prisones of Edinburgh Cannogate and Leith, And to examine and tak tryall what persones men or women ar prisoners in these prisones whom it will be fitt to cause transport to these plantationes, And to Report to the Councill That they may give order for their transportatione accordingly either upon sentance against them after process or upon their oun consent.

A Letter from the Kings Majestie to the Lords of privy Councell adding Charles Earle of Selkirk and William Lord Ross to the Lords of their Majesties privie Councell And requyring the Lords of privie Councell to admitt and receave them Redd And the said Earle and Lord Being called In Did both of them suear and signe the oath of alleadgance and signe the assurance to their Majesties and the Lord Chancellor Having administred to them the oath de fideli They were receaved and admitted conforme to his Majesties Letter and took their place at the board accordingly And the Councell appoynted the Letter to be recorded quherof the tenor folloues
