Procedure

Comittee for takeing the oathes of the Comissioners of the Lord Registers office.

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby recomend to the Lords Hattoun Fountainhall and Enstruther to take the oathes and depositiones of the Late Comissioners for the Lord Registers office there deputes and servants If they have abstracted or Imbaizled any of the registers records or warrands belonging to the said office dureing there Comissione for exerciseing thereof And to call for the keyes of the Laigh parliament house where the saids records Lyes And upon receveing thereof to delyver the same to the Viscount of Tarbat present Lord Register or any commissionat by him for receaving thereof.

Procedure

Committee for taking the oaths of the commissioners of the lord register’s office.

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to the Lords Hatton, Fountainhall and Anstruther to take the oaths and depositions of the former commissioners for the lord register’s office, their deputes and servants, if they have abstracted or embezzled any of the registers, records or warrants belonging to the said office during their commission for exercising thereof, and to call for the keys of the Laigh Parliament House where the said records lie, and upon receiving thereof to deliver the same to the Viscount of Tarbat, present lord register or any commissioned by him for receiving thereof.
