Warrand Taking off the Duke of Gordons Confynement
The Lords of his majesties privy Councill In obedience to his Majesties Letter direct to them of the date The First day of Aprile last bypast, Doe heirby take off any Confynement which lyes upon George Duke of Gordon, and declares him quite therof and free therfrae in all tyme coming, The said Duke First before Extracting heirof giving Bond and finding Sufficient caution acted in the books of privy Councill That he shall live peaceably under and with all Submission to the present Government of his Majesty King William, And That he shall not act Consult nor Contrive any thing in prejudice thereof, and That he shall not Converse or Correspond with any Rebells, And That he shall appear before the Lords of his majesties privy Councill whenever he shall be called or Required for that Effect, under the penalty of Two Thousand pound Sterling Contained in his former Band, In caice he Shall fail or transgress in any pairt of the premises.
