Warrand To the Lord Advocat To deliver Samuell Hannay to any Flanders officer

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill Doe heirby allow and give full power and warrand to Sir James Stewart of Goodtrees his Majesties Advocat To deliver the person of Samuell Hannay presently prisoner in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh To any of his Majesties officers going for Flanders, To Serve as a Souldier under the said officer, His Majesties said Advocat always first before Extracting hereof produceing 2 the Clerks of privy Councill a Consent under the said Samuell Hannay his own hand That he consents to his Banishment forth of his majesties Dominions, And oblidges himself to depairt forth therof and never to Return therto without his Majesties or the Councills warrant for that Effect under the pain of death.
