Act Heretors of Tinron for Stipend

Anent the petition Given in to the Lords of there majestyes privie Councill be the Heretors minister Elders and others in the paroch of Tinron Shewing That ane great pairt of the walls of the petitioners paroch kirk with the Bellhouse are in a ruinous conditione, there bell broken and altogether useles There kirk yaird dyck wholly fallen doun to the ground The gleib and houses of the manse (being waist these severall years bypast) verie farr decayed And the saids petitioners pariochiners thereof being very much Impoverished by the death of there goods in stormes the payeing of publict dues and other accidents are not able to repair the saids ruines As ane testificat from the moderator and other ministers of the presbitry of Penpount wherein the petitioners Live therewith sent hes Informed the saids Lords And therefore Craveing that there Lordships would be pleased to take the premises to there serious consideratione and ordaine the vacant stipend of the year Jaj vjc nyntie yeirs of the said pariochine of Tinron whereof the King is patron to be uplifted be some of the petitioners number for repairing the above wreitten ruines. As the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill haveing considered this petitione Given in to them be the above Heretors minister elders and others in the paroch of Tinron with the testificat mentioned therein and produced therewith They hereby allow the stipend of the above kirk of Tinron for the first half of the cropt and year of God Jaj vjc and nyntie To be Imployed for repairing the ruinous kirk bell house broken bell and other pious uses abovementioned And nominates and appoints William Philip nottar in Tinron to be factor for uplifting the said half years stipend and ordaines him to be readiely ansuered obeyed and payed thereof be the heretors Lyfrenters fewers titulars tacksmen of teynds tennents possessors and others Lyable in payment of the samen and ordaines Letters of horning to be direct at his instance againest them for that effect upon productione of a decreet of Locality And in case there be non ordaines these Lyable to make payment of there respective proportiones according as the samen shall be decerned be the Judge ordinarie In respect the said factor hes found sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councill That he shall Imploy the said half years stipend for the ends and uses forsaids

Act for the heritors of Tynron for stipend

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by the heritors, minister, elders and others in the parish of Tynron shewing that a great part of the walls of the petitioners’ parish kirk with the bell-house are in a ruinous condition, their bell broken and altogether useless, Their kirkyard dyke wholly fallen down to the ground, the glebe and houses of the manse (being waste for several years past) very far decayed, and the said petitioners’ parishioners being very much impoverished by the death of their goods in storms, the paying of public dues and other accidents, are not able to repair the said ruins as a certificate from the moderator and other ministers of the presbytery of Penpont wherein the petitioners live therewith sent has informed the said lords, and therefore craving that their lordships would be pleased to take the premises to their serious consideration and ordain the vacant stipend of the 1690 of the said parish of Tynron, whereof the king is patron, to be uplifted by some of the petitioners’ number for repairing the said ruins, as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having considered this petition given in to them by the above heritors, minister, elders and others in the parish of Tynron with the certificate mentioned therein and produced therewith, they hereby allow the stipend of the above kirk of Tynron for the first half of 1690 the crop and year of God 1690 to be employed for repairing the ruinous kirk, bell-house, broken bell and other pious uses abovementioned, and they nominate and appoint William Philip, notary in Tynron, to be factor for uplifting the said half year’s stipend and ordain him to be readily answered, obeyed and paid thereof by the heritors, liferenters, feuars, titulars, tacksmen of teinds, tenants, possessors and others liable in payment of the same and they ordain letters of horning to be directed at his instance against them for that effect upon production of a decreet of Locality, and in case there is none, they ordain these liable to make payment of their respective proportions as the same shall be discerned by the judge ordinary, in respect the said factor has found sufficient caution acted in the books of privy council that he shall employ the said half year’s stipend for the ends and uses foresaid.
