Recomendatione to Sir Thomas Livingstoun To transport the proveist of Rutherglen from thence to Edinburgh

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheif of there majestyes forces within this Kingdome to Cause Convoy under a sufficient guaird from the tolbooth of Rutherglen to the tolbooth of Edinburgh the persone of Andrew Harvie Late proveist of Rutherglen and prisoner2 in that tolbooth for the treasonable expressiones againest there majestyes and appoints the magistrates of Rutherglen to delyver the said Andrew Harvie to and3 the magistrates of Edinburgh and keeper of there tolbooth to receave him from the said guaird and to detain him prisoner in the said tolbooth of Edinburgh untill further order

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to Sir Thomas Livingston, comander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom, to cause convoy under a sufficient guard from the tolbooth of Rutherglen to the tolbooth of Edinburgh the person of Andrew Harvie, late provost of Rutherglen and prisoner in that tolbooth for the treasonable expressions against their majesties, and they appoint the magistrates of Rutherglen to deliver the said Andrew Harvie to the magistrates of Edinburgh and keeper of their tolbooth to receive him from the said guard and to detain him prisoner in the said tolbooth of Edinburgh until further order.
