Liberatione Walter Robert

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Counsell haveing Considered ane petition Given in to them be Walter Robert weaver in Carridden now prisoner in Blackness with ane executione under the hand of Arthur Morgan messenger Bearing that upon the tuelth day of Februarij instant he delyvered a Coppie of the said bill and former delyverance of Counsell thereon Appointing Captain Hamiltone of Grange therein Compleaned upon To see and ansuer the same and dischargeing the petitioner to be sett furth of the Castle of Blackness without the Counsells order To the said Captain Hamiltone personally apprehended And that the Captain Looked upon the same and threw it to the ground They hereby Give order and warrand to the Governour of Blackness and in his absence the next Commanding officer there To sett the petitioner at Libertie furth of the said castle That he may [go] about his affairs as any others of his Majestyes free Leidges And discharges Captain Hamiltone to molest him in the doeing thereof

Liberation [of] Walter Robert

The lords of their majesties’ privy council having considered a petition given in to them by Walter Robert weaver in Carriden now prisoner in Blackness. with an execution under the hand of Arthur Morgan, messenger, bearing that upon the twelfth day of February instant he delivered a copy of the said bill and former deliverance of council thereon, appointing Captain Hamilton of Grange therein complained upon to see and answer the same, and discharging the petitioner to be set forth of the castle of Blackness without the council’s order to the said Captain Hamilton personally apprehended, and that the captain looked upon the same and threw it to the ground. They hereby give order and warrant to the governor of Blackness and in his absence the next commanding officer there to set the petitioner at liberty forth of the said castle that he may [go] about his affairs as any others of his majesties’ free lieges, and discharge Captain Hamilton to molest him in the doing thereof
