Act Mr John Wood for stipend
Anent the petitione Given in to the Lords of there Majesties privie Counsell be Mr John Wood Minister of the Gospell Shewing That upon tuesday last the petitioner haveing given in a bill to there Lordships Craveing ane modificatione out of the vacancies of the second maister of the theologie Colledge in the university of St Andrews for a present supplie to himself and his family There Lordships after Considering the petitione did refuse to dispose of any pairt of that fond for that end, But withall your Lordships were pleased to desyre the petitioner to Condescend upon any of the vacancies of churches And the petitioner knowing that the Church of Auchterderen in Fyff is and hes been vacant for the year last bypast And therefore Craveing that there Lordships would be pleased to grant the petitioner that years vacancie for the forsaid end and use As the said petitione bears The saids Lords of there Majestyes privie Counsell haveing considered this petitione given in to them be the above Mr John Wood They hereby allow to the petitioner the stipend of the above kirk of Auchterderen for the last half of the cropt and year of God Jaj vjc and Nyntie one and ordaines him to be readiely ansuered obeyed and payed thereof be the heretors fewers wodsetters and others Lyable in payment of the samen And ordaines Letters of horning at the petitioners instance againest them for that effect He produceing a decreet of Locality And in case there be none ordaines these Lyable to Make payment2 to him of there respective proportiones of the said stipend for the said half year according as they shall be decerned be the Judge ordinarie the petitioner3 alwayes befor extracting hereof produceing the patrones Consent
