Liberation Doctor Mcghie

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby Give order and warrand to the magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of there tolbooth to sett at Liberty Doctor John Mcghie furth thereof He first Enacting himself in the books of privie Councill That he shall depairt furth of there majestyes Dominiones and not returne thereto under the pain of death And also finding sufficient Cautione acted in the saids books That he shall goe abroad for Holland in the fleet now presently Lyeing in the road of Leith and designed thither under the penaltie of Ane Hundreth pounds Sterling.

Liberation of Doctor McGee

The lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby give order and warrant to the magistrates of Edinburgh and keeper of their tolbooth to set at liberty Doctor John McGee furth thereof he first enacting himself in the books of privy council that he shall depart furth of their majesties’ dominions and not return thereto under the pain of death, and also finding sufficient caution, acted in the said books, that he shall go abroad for Holland in the fleet now presently lying in the road of Leith and designed thither under the penalty of one hundred pounds sterling.
