Liberation William Murray

Anent the petition Given in to the Lords of there majestyes privie Councill be William Murray ventner in Edinburgh Shewing That where the petitioner by there Lordships order hes been detained in Closs prisone these three weeks bygone And being also by there Lordships order Called out of prisone and Examined by there majestyes Sollicitor The petitioner doubts not but he hes given the saids Lords all satisfactione Imaginable And therefore Craveing that the saids Lords would be pleased to take the premises to there Consideration And ordaine the petitioner to be sett at Liberty to the end that he and his poor family may not be reduced to extream misery he haveing nothing to mantaine himself As the said petitione bears The saids Lords of there majestyes privie Councill Haveing considered this petitione given in to them be the above William Murray Doe hereby give order and order to the magistrats of Edinburgh and keeper of there tolbooth to sett the petitioner at Liberty furth thereof

Liberation for William Murray

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by William Murray vintner in Edinburgh showing that, where the petitioner by their lordships’ order has been detained in close prison these three weeks bygone, and being also by their lordships’ order called out of prison and examined by their majesties solicitor, the petitioner doubts not but he has given the said lords all satisfaction imaginable and therefore craving that the said lords would be pleased to take the premises to their consideration and ordain the petitioner to be set at liberty to the end that he and his poor family may not be reduced to extreme misery, he having nothing to maintain himself, as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having considered this petition given in to them by the above William Murray do hereby give order and order to the magistrates of Edinburgh and keeper of their tolbooth to set the petitioner at liberty furth thereof.
