Another commission in favour of Captain Hugh Campbell to be captain of the good ship or frigate called the Elizabeth of Argyll of the burden of 60 tons or thereabout and fifteen guns with all ammunition proportionable as a man of war commissioned in their majesties’ actual service (of the same tenor and to the same effect with the former commission in favour of Captain Matthew Campbell) signed and sealed with the cachet of council at Edinburgh 10 June 1692. Subscribed thus: Tweeddale chancellor, Queensberry, Drumlanrig, Linlithgow, Lothian, Leven, Forfar, Breadalbane, Tarbat, Stair, Cardross, Belhaven, John Lauder, Archibald Murray.
