Kings Letter for adjourning the parliament

A Letter from the Kings Majesty to the Councill read and ordered to be recovered whereof the tenor followes Sic2 supra scribitur William Rex
Right trustie and right well beloved Cousine and Councellour Right trustie and Intirely beloved Cousine and Councillor Right trustie and right well beloved Cousine and Councillour Right trustie and well beloved Cousine and Councellour Right trustie and well beloved Councellours Right trustie and well beloved Councellors And trustie and well beloved Councellours wee greet yow well whereas by our former order our current parliament wes adjourned by proclamatione to the fyfteint day of August next to come And now in respect of our absence and that our effairs doe not requyre the meeting of our parliament at that tyme Therefor it is our will and pleasure And wee doe authorize and requyre yow to emitt a proclamation adjourning our Current parliament from the Fyfteint day of August to the sixteent day of November next to come Requyreing all the members of our parliament to give there attendance at that day at the ordinary place and tyme under the knowen and accustomed certificationes For doeing whereof this shall be your warrand And so wee bidd yow heartily Farewell Given at our Campt at Jomep the fourteint day of Jullij Jaj vjc nyntie tuo years and of our reigne the fourth year By his majesties Comand Sic Subscribitur J Dalrymple

Right trusty and right well beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and entirely beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and right well beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and well beloved cousin and councillor, right trusty and well beloved councillors, right trusty and well beloved councillors and trusty and well beloved councillors we greet you well; whereas by our former order our current parliament was adjourned by proclamation to the fifteenth day of August next to come, and now in respect of our absence and that our affairs do not require the meeting of our parliament at that time, therefore it is our will and pleasure, and we do authorize and require you to emit a proclamation adjourning our current parliament from the fifteenth day of August to the sixteenth day of November next to come, requiring all the members of our parliament to give there attendance at that day at the ordinary place and time under the known and accustomed certifications for doing whereof, this shall be your warrant, and so we bid you heartily farewell. Given at our camp at Jemeppe the fourteenth day of July 1692 and of our reign the fourth year. By his majesty’s command, signed John Dalrymple.
