Recomendatione to the Earle of Strathmore anent My Lord Kinaird

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe Hereby Recomend to the Earle of Strathmore To speak with the Lord Kinaird who is appoynted maister of the Game in Pearth shyre upon the East syde of the water of Tay, If the Lord Kinaird hes taken the oath of alleadgeance and assureance or if he be willing to take the same To the effect that if he be unwilling Aneother may be Nominate in his stead and recomends to the said Earle to make report thereoff to the Councill.

Recommendation to the earl of Strathmore concerning my Lord Kinnaird

The lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby recommend to [Patrick Lyon] the earl of Strathmore to speak with [Patrick] the Lord Kinnaird, who is appointed master of the game in Perthshire upon the east side of the water of Tay, if the Lord Kinnaird has taken the oath of allegiance and assurance, or if he be willing to take the same, to the effect that if he be unwilling, another may be nominated in his stead, and recommends to the said earl to make report thereof to the Council.
