Recomendation to the Chancellour to writ to the Secretary anent the said electione of the magistrates of Edinburgh

The Councill recomended to the Lord High Chancellour to wreitt to the secretarie of state And send to him a Coppie of the Councills Letter to the King with the Coppies of the first printed Informatione for the persewers of the Complaint which wes read in Councill at advyseing of the process As also the Coppie of the Interloquitor of Councill of the sixth of december Instant And the Coppie of the persewers petitione and Interloquitor following thereon of the seventh Instant And the Coppie of the ansuers made to this petitione and of the bill Given in be the defenders with the Interloquitor following upon the said bill and ansuers of the Eighth Instant That His majestie may be fully Informed in this matter

Recommendation to the chancellor to write to the secretary concerning the said election of the magistrates of Edinburgh

The council recommended to the lord high chancellor to write to the secretary of state and send to him a copy of the council’s letter to the king with the copies of the first printed information for the pursuers of the complaint, which was read in council at advising of the process, as also the copy of the interlocutor of council of 6 December instant, and the copy of the pursuers’ petition and interlocutor following thereon of the seventh instant, and the copy of the answers made to this petition and of the bill given in by the defenders with the interlocutor following upon the said bill, and answers of the eighth instant, that his majesty may be fully informed in this matter.
