Recomendation to Sir Thomas Livingstoun to take tryall who robbed the pacquett

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill Doe hereby recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there majesties forces within this Kingdome to take tryall who were the persones that robbed or seized the last2 pacquett And to examine such persones as he shall receave informatione Anent as guilty of, or accessorie to the said Cryme or who Can give Informatione therein And to cause seize upon and secure such of these persones as he shall think fitt and make report to the Councill

Recommendation to Sir Thomas Livingston to investigate who robbed the packet

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom to investigate who were the persons that robbed or seized the last packet and to examine such persons as he shall receive information concerning his guilt of, or accessory to the said crime or who can give information therein and to seize upon and secure such of those persons as he shall think fit and make report to the council.
