Recomendation to Sir William Lockhart anent Mcapie and McLaughlan

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby recomend to Sir William Lockhart to report to the Councill what what2 evidence he hes againest Andrew Mcapie and John Mclachlan tuo prisoners in the tolbooth of Edinburgh for robbery And whom the Earle of Leven Informe doe voluntarly offer them selves to goe to Flanders and serve there majesties as souldiers in his Lordships Regiment

Recommendation to Sir William Lockhart concerning McApie and McLaughlan

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to Sir William Lockhart to report to the council what evidence he has against Andrew McApie and John Mclaughlan, two prisoners in the tolbooth of Edinburgh for robbery and whom the earl of Leven intimates voluntarily offer themselves to go to Flanders and serve their majesties as soldiers in his lordship’s regiment.
