The Lords of there majesties privie Councill doe hereby Recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there majesties forces within this Kingdome To cause quarter tuo troops of horse or dragoons at Drumfreiss for securitie of the peace of that2 Countrey untill the Councill meet in November next.

The lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby recommend to Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom, to cause quarter two troops of horse or dragoons at Dumfries for security of the peace of that country until the council meet in November next.
