Recomendation to Sir Thomas Livingstoun anent the quarters of the forces

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there Majestyes forces within this Kingdome to prepare and give in to there Lordships at there meeting upon the second tuesday of october next ane accompt of the quarters designed for there majesties forces horse or dragoons this ensueing winter That the saids Lords of privie Councill may Issue furth such orders as they shall find necessar for these forces there being sufficiently furnished with corne hay and straw at the respective places to be appoynted for there quarters.

Recommendation to Sir Thomas Livingston concerning the quarters of the forces

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom to prepare and give in to their lordships at their meeting upon the second Tuesday of October next an account of the quarters designated for their majesties’ forces, horse or dragoons, this ensuing winter, that the said lords of privy council may issue such orders as they shall find necessary for these forces there being sufficiently furnished with corn, hay and straw at the respective places to be appointed for their quarters.
