The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to the Lords Commissioners of there Majesties theasurie To Cause payment be made to John Hay merchand in Fraserburgh […] Wood Late servitor to the said John Hay Henrie Findlaysone sailler there and Thomas Pyper weaver there whom there majesties sollicitor is to make use of as witnesses the Lord Fraser in the process of treasone againest him To be persued upon the Councills warrand to be granted for that effect And whom the Councill have authorized the said sollicitor to cause secure off a Competent allowance for there aliment dureing the tyme of there Imprisonement In respect they are mean persones and not able to maintaine themselves

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to the lords commissioners of their majesties’ treasury to cause payment be made to John Hay, merchant in Fraserburg,h […] Wood late servant of the said John Hay, Henry Finlayson, sailor there and Thomas Piper, weaver there, of whom their majesties’ solicitor is to make use as witnesses of Lord Fraser in the process of treason against him to be pursued on the council’s warrant to be granted for that effect and whom the council have authorised the said solicitor to cause secure a competent allowance for their aliment during the time of their imprisonment in respect that they are mean persons and not able to maintain themselves.
