Recomendation Colonel Walter Whytefoord to the theasurie

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of there majestyes privie Councill be Colonell Walter Whytefoord Shewing That whereas the petition[er] being a Gentleman who upon all occasiones hath stroven for to behave himself as ane honest man And hade a pensione of Ane Hundreth pounds a year conferred upon him and now haveing no Lyvelyhood at all But Lyke to sterve And therefore beseeching there Lordships to allow him some small thing Dayly whereby he and his poor family may Live as the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of there majestyes privie Councill haveing heard this petitione given in to them be the above Colonell Water Whytefoord read in there presence They hereby recomend to the Lords Commissioners of there majestyes theasurie to cause payment be made to the petitioner of such soumes of money for his aliment as they shall find Competent and suteable to his necessitous case and conditione

Recommendation for Colonel Walter Whiteford to the treasury

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by Colonel Walter Whiteford, showing that, whereas the petitioner being a gentleman who upon all occasions has striven to behave himself as an honest man and had a pension of £100 a year conferred upon him and now having no livelihood at all but likely to starve, and therefore beseeching their lordships to allow him some small thing daily whereby he and his poor family may live, as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having heard this petition given in to them by the above Colonel Walter Whiteford read in their presence, they hereby recommend to the lords commissioners of their majesties’ treasury to cause payment be made to the petitioner of such sums of money for his aliment as they shall find competent and suitable to his necessitous case and condition.
