Recomendation to Sir Thomas Livingstoun anent seased horses

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill Considering that Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there majesties forces within this Kingdome did by warrand from there Lordships in the tyme of the Late noyse and rumor of ane Intented Invasione Cause Seize upon and secure severall horses and armes belonging to persones some whereof were papists and others under baill to the Councill and sieing the fears of such ane Invasione is now by the Goodnes of God removed and over Therefore they hereby recomend to the Said Sir Thomas Livingstoun to give order and warrand to the persons In whose [possession] the saids horses and armes are To delyver the same to the respective ouners from whom they were seized.

Recommendation to Sir Thomas Livingston concerning seized horses

The lords of their majesties’ privy council, considering that Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom did by warrant from their lordships in the time of the recent noise and rumour of an intended invasion, cause seize upon and secure several horses and arms belonging to persons some of whom were Catholics and others under bail to the council, and seeing the fears of such an invasion are now by the goodness of God removed and over, therefore they hereby recommend to the said Sir Thomas Livingston to give order and warrant to the persons in whose [possession] the said horses and arms are to deliver the same to the respective owners from whom they were seized.
