Recomendation to the Sollicitor to secure witnesses against Earl of Seaforth and others

The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to Sir William Lockhart there majesties sollicitor to use all diligence for secureing of witneses and prepareing of evidence againest the Earle of Seaforth The Lord Fraser Mr Livingstoun and these other officers who were Concerned with him whom His majestie by his Letter hes appointed to be brought to a tyrall when his majesties advocat arryves.

The lords of their majesties’ privy council doe hereby recommend to Sir William Lockhart, their majesties’ solicitor, to use all diligence for securing of witnesses and preparing of evidence against [Kenneth Mackenzie] the earl of Seaforth, [Charles Fraser] the Lord Fraser, Mr Livingston, and those other officers who were concerned with him whom his majesty by his letter has appointed to be brought to a trial when his majesty’s advocate arrives.
