Recomendation To the Solicitor to take tryall of the suficiencie of Sprinkells Cautioner

The Lords of their majesties privy Councill Doe heirby Recommend to Sir William Lockhart their majesties Solicitor to informe himself if George Scot of Giblistoune who is offered Caution for Sir Patrick Maxwell of Sprinkell (In place of Sir John Maxwell of Pollock the former Cautioner who is absent) for the said Sir Patrick his peacable behavior and appearance when called under the penalty of Six Thousand merks be suficient and may be received Cautioner in the said matter and to report to the Councill.
