Order Ensigne Crightoun to be under Centinells

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby Recomend to the Earle of Leven governour of the castle of Edinburgh to cause transport […] Crightoun Ensigne to the castle of Edinburgh and who is presently prisoner in his chamber under Centinells from the said castle to any chamber in Edinburgh And to delyver him to the Captain of the toun of Edinburghes Company of toun guards whom they appoint to sett a Centinell upon the said Ensigne Crightoun at the door of the house where he shall have his chamber and Confynes the said Ensigne thereto and dishcharges him to goe forth thereof

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to the earl of Leven, governor of the Castle of Edinburgh to transport […] Crichton, ensign, to the Castle of Edinburgh, and who is presently a prisoner in his chamber under guard from the said castle to any chamber in Edinburgh and to deliver him to the captain of the town of Edinburgh’s company of town guards whom they appoint to set a guard upon the said Ensign Crichton at the door of the house where he shall have his chamber, and they confyns the said ensign thereto and dishcharge him to go forth thereof.
