The Lord Chancellor desyres to be easd of suspect persons

The Lord High Chancellour Desyred In respect of the many affairs which at this tyme he is necessarly taken up about and of the frequent meetings of Councill and Comittee where he is almost alwayes present, Besydes the Indisposition of his bodie That therefore the Councill will be pleased to ease him of the burden Laid upon him to secure suspect persones untill the full Councill who are to meet on thursday next Give order anent this matter and Nominate persones to whom the trust2 thereof may be Committed

The lord chancellor desires to be eased of suspect persons

The lord high chancellor desired, in respect of the many affairs which at this time he is necessarily taken up with and of the frequent meetings of council and committees where he is almost always present, besides the indisposition of his body, that therefore the council will be pleased to relieve him of the burden laid upon him to secure suspect persons until the full council, who are to meet on Thursday next, give orders regarding this matter and nominate persons to whom the trust thereof may be committed.
