Petitione be the inhabitants of Newburgh and another be the baillies therof with a letter frae the Lord Lindores to Duke Hamilton and another letter frae Lindores to the Lord high Chancelor and the townes Charter Read and Remitted to the Earl of Crafurd Lord Polwarth, Aberuchell and Fountonhall or any thrie to Consider the petitione and Chartor with the parties right and report to the Councill.
