Approbation of Sir Thomas Livingstouns takeing Craigentinnies parroll of honour

Forasmuch as Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff etc hes reported to the Councill that he hes taken a parroll of honour from Sir Alexander Nisbet of Craigenttinnie That he shall not ryse in armes againest there majestyes government nor forces The Councill approves of what Sir Thomas hes done in this matter and recomends to him to delyver in the said parroll to the Clerks of Councill.

Approbation of Sir Thomas Livingston’s taking Craigentinny’s parole of honour

Forasmuch as Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief etc has reported to the council that he has taken a parole of honour from Sir Alexander Nisbet of Craigentinny that he shall not rise in arms against their majesties’ government or forces, the council approves of what Sir Thomas has done in this matter and recommends to him to deliver in the said parole to the clerks of council.
