Additional Commissioners anent the hearth money

The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill Doe hereby add to the Commissioners alreadie nominate in the Late proclamatione of Councill of Councill2 anent the hearth money bearing dait the tuelth day of August Last the persones following to be Commissioners in the respective shyres after mentioned with power to them as to the other Comissioners mentioned in the proclamatione viz Alexander Nisbet of Craigentinnie for the shyre of Edinburgh Sir George Smillie of Balgone […] Hay of Alderstoun and Sir William Baird younger of New Byth for the shyre for shyre of3 Haddingtoun […] Home of Kinnergem for the shyre of Berwick Sir John Scott of Ancrum and Sir Patrick Scott of Longnewtoun for the shyre of Roxburgh Mr Alexander Monro of Bearcrofts for the shyre of Stirling and John Lord Yester and Sir Charles Hacquett of Pitfirren for the shyres of Fyff and Kinross And declares any three of the Commissioners here and in the forsaid proclamatione nominate, to be a sufficient quorum in the respective shyres where they are appointed.

Additional commissioners concerning the hearth money

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby add to the commissioners already nominated in the late proclamation of the council concerning the hearth money bearing date of 12 August last, the persons following to be commissioners in the respective shires after mentioned, with power to them as to the other commissioners mentioned in the proclamation, viz: Alexander Nisbet of Craigentinny for the shire of Edinburgh; Sir George Smillie of Balgone, [Sir John] Hay of Alderston and Sir William Baird, younger of Newbyth for the shire of Haddington; [Sir Andrew] Home of Kimmerghame for the shire of Berwick; Sir John Scott of Ancrum and Sir Patrick Scott of Langnewtoun for the shire of Roxburgh; Mr Alexander Munro of Bearcrofts for the shire of Stirling; and John Lord Yester and Sir Charles Halkett of Pitfirrane for the shires of Fife and Kinross. And declares any three of the commissioners here and in the foresaid proclamation nominated to be a sufficient quorum in the respective shires where they are appointed.
