Petition Ensigne Glaidstaines Representing that one Sir Robert Boyd who hade willingly and deliberately engadged as a souldier to goe with him to Flanders for there Majestyes service is by order of a privie Counsellour transported from the prisone of the Canongate to the tolbooth of Edinburgh Read and Recommended to the former Comittee appointed for visiteing the prisones to Consider the petitione and hear both parties and report

Petition Ensign Gladstone representing that one Sir Robert Boyd, who had willingly and deliberately engaged as a soldier to go with him to Flanders for their majesties’ service, is by order of a privy councillor transported from the prison of the Canongate to the tolbooth of Edinburgh read, and recommended to the former committee appointed for visiting the prisons to consider the petition and hear both parties and report.
