Approbation of Mcintoshes Comissione to Collonell Hill

The Lords of there majestyes privie Councill being Informed by the Lord High Chancellour of this Kingdome that Lauchlan Mcintosh of Torcastle heretable stewart of the Lands of the Lordship of Lochaber hes granted a Commissione of deputatione In favours of Colonell John Hill Governour of Innerlochie Constituteing Creating and ordaining the said Collonell to be his deput in the said office of stewartrie within the bounds forsaids Excepting in maner as is excepted in the said Commissione or deputatione which is of the dait at Edinburgh the seventeint day of march Last by past And that the said Colonell desyres the Councills approbatione of the said Commissione The saids Lords of there majestyes privie Councill Doe hereby approve of the said Commissione or deputatione be the Laird of Mcintosh to Colonell Hill and of what he hath alreadie done or put in executione or shall doe or putt in executione be vertue thereof And Interpose there authority to the same.

Approbation of McIntosh’s Commission to Colonel Hill

The lords of their majesties’ privy council being informed by the Lord High Chancellor of this kingdom that Lauchlan McIntosh of Torcastle, heritable stewart of the lands of the lordship of Lochaber, has granted a commission of deputation In favours of Colonel John Hill, governor of Inverlochy, constituting, creating and ordaining the said Colonel to be his depute in the said office of stewartry within the bounds forsaid excepting in manner as is excepted in the said commission or deputation which is of the date at Edinburgh the seventeenth day of March last bypast, and that the said Colonel desires the council’s approbation of the said commission, the said lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby approve of the said commission or deputation by the laird of McIntosh to Colonell Hill, and of what he has already done or put in execution or shall do or put in execution by virtue thereof, and interpose their authority to the same.
