Comittee To consider Lists of persons under baill and for takeing parrolls of honour2

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill Doe hereby recomend to the Lord Cardross, Master of Forbes The Lairds of Blackbarrony and Steivinstoun and Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheif of there majestyes forces within this Kingdome To Consider the List of persones under baill and charged to compear befor the Councill and to cause seiz and Committ to prisone such of the persones in the said List as they shall think fit3 And to requyre such others of them as they shall think fitt to give there parroll of honour that they shall Live peaceably And with all submission to the present government under there majestyes King William and Queen Mary And that they shall not act consult or contryve any thing in prejudice thereof And that they shall not converse nor correspond with any of there saids majesties rebells And that they shall appear befor the Lords of privie Councill when called for And in case they refuse to give there parroll in the termes forsaids that they committ them to prisone also, till the Councills pleasure be of meeting and declares any three of them a quorum.

Committee to consider lists of persons under bail and for taking paroles of honour

The lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby recommend to the Lord Cardross, master of Forbes, the lairds of Blackbarony and Stevenson and Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom to consider the list of persons under bail and charged to appear before the council and to cause seize and commit to prison such of the persons in the said list as they shall think fit, and to require such others of them as they shall think fit to give their parole of honour that they shall live peaceably and with all submission to the present government under their majesties King William and Queen Mary, and that they shall not act, consult or contrive anything in prejudice thereof, and that they shall not converse nor correspond with any of their said majesties’ rebels, and that they shall appear before the lords of privy council when called for, and in case they refuse to give their parole in the terms foresaid, that they commit them to prison also, till the council’s pleasure be of meeting, and declares any three of them a quorum.
