A fleeing pacquett ordered anent Captain Roope

The Councill Recomended to the Lord High Chancellour to dispatch a fleeing pacquett to her majesty signifyeing Captain Roope Captain of there Majestyes man of warr called the Sheirness now Lyeing in the road of Leith as a convoy to the transport ships with the three regiments Lyeing in the said road hes refused to obey the Councills Comands Intimate to him for remaining in this countrie till the saids three regiments (whom the Councill have Commanded to stopt for some tyme) be allowed to sett to sea and desyreing her majestyes mynd in that effair.

A flying packet ordered concerning Captain Roop

The council recommended to the lord high chancellor to dispatch a flying packet to her majesty signifying Captain Roop, captain of their majesties’ man of war called the Sheerness, now lying in the road of Leith as a convoy to the transport ships with the three regiments lying in the said road, has refused to obey the council’s commands intimated to him for remaining in this country till the said three regiments (whom the council have commanded to stop for some time) be allowed to set to sea and desiring her majesty’s mind in that affair.
