Address from the presbyterian Heretors in the Louthians

Ane other address of the presbiterian Heretors in the shyres of Louthian offering to raise and mantain ane regiment upon there oune expenses for fourty dayes or Longer Craveing warrand to Levie the regiment and armes out of the Magazines And that the Councill would represent to there Majestyes there readines at this Juncture Read, and the subscrybers called for,2 The Lord Chancellour In name and at Comand of the Councill did returne them the thanks of the boord, And declared the Councill would transmitt this address to there majestyes And the saids Lords of privie Councill doe hereby nominate and appoint the Earles of Linlythgow and Louthian The Lords Beilhaven and Carmichaell The lairds of Blackbarronie of Steivinstoun and Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there majestyes forces within this Kingdome to be a Comittee for Considering this address And what persones doe Concurr with the subscrybers and how the forsaid offer may be made effectuall And Recomends to them to make report to the Councill at there next dyet of meeting And declares any four of the forsaid Comittee to be a quorum.

Address from the presbyterian heritors in the Lothians

Another address of the presbyterian heritors in the shires of Lothian offering to raise and maintain a regiment upon their own expenses for forty days or longer, craving warrant to levy the regiment and arms out of the magazines, and that the council would represent to their majesties their readiness at this juncture was read, and the subscribers called for, the lord chancellor in name and at command of the council did return them the thanks of the board, and declared the council would transmit this address to their majesties. And the said lords of privy council do hereby nominate and appoint the earls of Linlithgow and Lothian, the Lords Belhaven and Carmichael, the lairds of Blackbarony and Stevenson and Sir Thomas Livingston commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom to be a committee for considering this address and what persons do concur with the subscribers and how the foresaid offer may be made effectual. And recommends to them to report to the council at their next diet of meeting, and declares any four of the foresaid committee to be a quorum.
