Ane address be the Magistrates and Councill of Glasgow for themselves and the Comunity thereof Humbly heartily and Cheerfully offering there Lyves and fortunes for defence of the Kingdome the true protestant religion, there majestyes authority and government read, and the Councill declares they will take the same to there Consideration And if any more of that Nature be presented will transmitt them altogether to the Kings majesty And If no more be offered will transmitt this alone

An address by the magistrates and council of Glasgow for themselves and the community thereof, humbly, heartily and cheerfully offering their lives and fortunes for defence of the kingdom, the true Protestant religion, their majesties’ authority and government was read, and the council declares they will take the same to their consideration and if any more of that nature are presented, will transmit them all together to the king’s majesty, and if no more are offered, will transmit this alone.
