Comittee anent Lists of bands ammunition ball and armes

The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill Recomended to the Lords Bellhaven and Polwarth and Sir John Maxwell of Polloque to take Inspection of the Lists of Inventars of bands granted be persones and there Cautioners to appear befor the Councill when called And to make up a List of such as they think fitt to be presently registrat and horning raised therron for Chargeing the principalls and Cautioners to present the principalls befor the Councill and to report the said List to the Councill the morrow in the afternoon with the dayes upon which these persones shall be Charged And to call for the sollicitor or his servant And get from him any hornings alreadie raised and execute upon any such bands and report to the Councill the morrow in the afternoon such of these hornings as they think fitt should be put to further executione and recalls the former order for Letters to the saids persones and discharges the sending of them away And Recomends to the said Comittee to Consider to what touns it will be fitt to direct the Letters signed by the Lord Chancellour for giveing accompt of the ammunitione ball and armes in there touns And what days is fitt to be filled up in these Letters for makeing report to the Councill And to cause fill up these Letters accordingly that they may be speediely dispatched And any tuo of the saids persones are to be a quorum

Committee for lists of bonds, ammunition, ball and armes

The lords of their majesties’ privy council recommended to the Lords Belhaven and Polwarth and Sir John Maxwell of Pollock to inspect the lists of inventories of bonds granted by persons and their cautioners to appear before the council when called, and to make up a list of such as they think fit to be presently registered and horning raised thereupon for charging the principals and cautioners to present the principals before the council, and to report the said list to the council tomorrow afternoon with the days upon which these persons shall be charged, and to call for the solicitor or his servant and get from him any hornings already raised and executed upon any such bonds and report to the council tomorrow afternoon such of those hornings as they think fit to be put to further execution, and they recall the former order for letters to the said persons and discharge the sending of them away, and they reconmend to the said committee to consider to what towns it will be fit to direct the letters signed by the lord chancellor for giving account of the ammunition, ball and arms in their towns and what days are fit to be filled up in these letters for making report to the council, and to have those letters filled up accordingly that they may be speedily dispatched, and any two of the said persons are to be a quorum.
