Warrand for a pass to Munier and Daulx

Anent the petitione Given in to the Lords of there majestyes privie Councill be Lowis Munier Barber and Philip Daulx periwigmaker Strangers and Mary Sharlet spouse to the said Philip Daulx and Mary Sharlott Daulx there daughter Shewing That the petitioners being tradesmen and pairtners the on being a barber and the other a periwig maker And being destitute of all means of supplie in this Kingdome And designeing for Flanders the Native Countrey of the petitioner Philip Daulx In order to sett up for a Lyvelyhood in the world And therefore Craveing that the saids Lordships would be pleased to order a pass to be expead for the petitioners transportatione to any place (they shall have occasione to be transported to) within the territoryes of the King of Spain or the States of Holland or any other the Allyes of this ancient Kingdome As the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of there majestyes privie Councill haveing considered this petition given in to them be the above Philip Daulx piriwigmaker and Lowis Munier barber and the wyfe and daughter of the said Philip Daulx They hereby Recomend to the Lord High Chancellour of Scotland to signe a pass for transportation of the petitioners to any place they shall have occasion to be transported to within the territoryes of the King of Spain the States of Holland or any others there majestyes allyes

Warrant for a pass for Munier and Daulx

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by Louis Munier barber, and Philip Daulx periwig-maker, strangers, and Mary Charlotte spouse to the said Philip Daulx and Mary Charlotte Daulx their daughter, showing that the petitioners being tradesmen and partners, the one being a barber and the other a periwig-maker, and being destitute of all means of supply in this kingdom and intending to go to Flanders, the native country of the petitioner Philip Daulx, in order to set up for a livelihood in the world, And therefore craving that their said lordships would be pleased to order a pass to be expedited for the petitioners’ transportation to any place they shall have occasion to be transported to within the territories of the king of Spain or the States of Holland or any other the allies of this ancient kingdom, as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having considered this petition given in to them by the above Philip Daulx piriwig-maker, and Louis Munier barber and the wife and daughter of the said Philip Daulx, they hereby recommend to the lord high chancellor of Scotland to sign a pass for transportation of the petitioners to any place they shall have occasion to be transported to within the territories of the king of Spain, the States of Holland or any other of their majesties’ allies.
