Warrand Countess of Perth to Enter the Castle off Stirling

The Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill doe hereby Give order and warrand to Leivetennent Colonell John Erskine deput Governour of the Castle of Stirling and in his absence to the next Comanding officer there to suffer and permitt the Countess of Perth to Enter into the said Castle And remaine prisoner therein with the Earle of Perth her husband untill further order of Councill.

Warrant for the countess of Perth to enter the Castle of Stirling

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby give order and warrant to Lieutenant Colonel John Erskine, depute governor of the Castle of Stirling, and in his absence to the next commanding officer there, to suffer and permit [Mary Gordon], countess of Perth to enter into the said castle and remain prisoner therein with [James Drummond], earl of Perth her husband until further order of council.
