Warrand Captain Fletcher to hire a ship to Innerness

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell doe hereby authorize and Impoure Captaine John Fletcher Furthwith to goe to Leith and Call for George Dundas […] at Leith Whom the saids Lords doe heirby perremptorlie Requyre to Goe allong with the said Captain Fletzer as he will be ansuerable and to seek out aggrie with and conduce a sufficient ship well furnished and provyded for carrying Cannon and stores from Leith to Innerness for their Majesties speciall service at alse easie rate as possiblie they can And appoyntes the said Captaine Fletzer to make report of his dilligence heirin to the Lords of the Committie appoynted to Consider his Majesties letter red in Councell this day and that on Munday nixt at ten of the clock in the forenoon2

The lords of their majesties’ privy council do hereby authorise and empower Captain John Fletcher forthwith to go to Leith and call for George Dundas […] at Leith whom the said lords do hereby peremptorily require to go along with the said Captain Fletcher as he will be answerable and to seek out, agree with and conduce a sufficient ship well furnished and provided for carrying cannon and stores from Leith to Inverness for their majesties’ special service at as easy a rate as possible they can, and appoint the said Captain Fletcher to make report of his diligence herein to the lords of the committee appointed to consider his majesty’s letter read in council this day and that on Monday next at ten of the clock in the forenoon.2
