Warrand for transporting Robert Hamilton from Edinburgh to Haddingtoun tolbooth

The Lords of there Majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstoun Comander in cheiff of there majesties forces within this Kingdome to Cause transport the persone of Robert Hamiltone […] prisoner presently in the tolbooth of Edinburgh for alleadged being present at the publishing of a disloyall paper or declaratione Lately published at the mercat croce of Sanquhar from the said tolbooth of Edinburgh to the tolbooth of Haddingtoun under a sufficient guaird And appoints the Magistrats of Edinburgh and Keeper of the tolbooth thereoff to delyver the said Robert Hamiltone to the said guaird And ordaines the magistrats of Haddingtoun and keeper of there tolbooth to receave him from the said guaird and to keep and detaine him prisoner in the said tolbooth untill further order.

The lords of their majesties’ privy council hereby recommend to Sir Thomas Livingston, commander in chief of their majesties’ forces within this kingdom to cause transport the person of Robert Hamilton […] prisoner presently in the tolbooth of Edinburgh for allegedly being present at the publishing of a disloyal paper or declaration lately published at the mercat cross of Sanquhar from the said tolbooth of Edinburgh to the tolbooth of Haddington under a sufficient guard, and they appoint the magistrates of Edinburgh and keeper of the tolbooth thereof to deliver the said Robert Hamilton to the said guard, and they ordain the magistrates of Haddington and keeper of their tolbooth to receive him from the said guard and to keep and detain him prisoner in the said tolbooth until further order.
