Warrand for delyvering up Fraser of Inverallochyes bond

Anent the petitione Given in to the Lords of there majestyes privie Councill be Alexander Fraser of Inverallochie Shewing That where the petitioner haveing formerly given bond to Colonell Buchan who wes Comandant at Aberdeen To compear befor the saids Lords when called for under the failzie of six thousand merks In which bond Samuell Forbes of Foveraigne is Cautioner And his sacred majestie thereafter haveing been graciously pleased to grant ane full and ample Indemnity to all who hade been in armes againest his government And who should betuixt and the first of Januarij subscryve and swear the oath of alleadgeance Accordingly the petitioner betuixt and the forsaid tyme did Compear befor Andrew Fraser of Kinmundie Shirreff deput of Aberdeen And did accordingly take the benefite of the Indemnity By Swearing and subscryveing the forsaid oath And which with the petitioners originall subscriptione is returned to the Clerks of privie Councill And the petitioner being Cited to Compear befor the saids Lords hes in obedience thereto come from his oune house which is ane Hundreth myles distant from this place And sieing since the petitioner did take the forsaid oath of alleadgeance He hes carryed himself Civilly and peaceably under the government And that the petitioner is still resolved to behave as becometh ane duetyfull subject and therefor Craveing that the saids Lords would be pleased to take the premises to there Consideratione And to ordaine the petitioners bond of presentation to be delyvered up to him since it is instructed that the petitioner hes given obedience by takeing the oath of alleadgeance In maner forsaid And by Compearing Conforme to the Citatione given him, As the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of there Majestyes privie Councill haveing considered this petitione given in to them be the above Alexander Fraser of Innerallochie They hereby give order and warrand to the Clerks of Councill to delyver up to the petitioner the above bond granted be him and his Cautioner daited the third day of Junij Jaj vjc nyntie one In respect the petitioner hes taken the benefite of there Majestyes act of Indemnity And that the oath of alleadgeance signed be him with his originall subscriptione thereto is transmitted to the saids Clerks of privie Councill

Warrant for delivering up Fraser of Inverallochy’s bond

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by Alexander Fraser of Inverallochy shewing that, where the petitioner having formerly given bond to Colonel Buchan who was commandant at Aberdeen to appear before the said lords when called for under the penalty of 6,000 merks, in which bond Samuel Forbes of Foveran is cautioner, and his sacred majesty thereafter having been graciously pleased to grant a full and ample indemnity to all who hade been in arms against his government and who should before 1 January subscribe and swear the oath of allegiance, accordingly the petitioner before the foresaid time did appear before Andrew Fraser of Kinmundy, sheriff depute of Aberdeen, and did accordingly take the benefit of the indemnity by swearing and subscribing the foresaid oath, and which with the petitioners original subscription is returned to the clerks of privy council and the petitioner being cited to appear before the said lords has in obedience thereto come from his own house which is 100 miles distant from this place, and seeing since the petitioner did take the foresaid oath of allegiance he has carried himself civilly and peaceably under the government, and that the petitioner is still resolved to behave as becomes a dutiful subject, and therefore craving that the said lords would be pleased to take the premises to their consideration and to ordain the petitioner’s bond of presentation to be delivered up to him since it is instructed that the petitioner has given obedience by taking the oath of allegiance in manner foresaid, and by appearing according to the citatione given him, as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having considered this petition given in to them by the above Alexander Fraser of Inverallochy, they hereby give order and warrant to the clerks of council to deliver up to the petitioner the above bond granted by him and his cautioner dated 3 June 1691 in respect the petitioner has taken the benefit of their majesties’ act of indemnity and that the oath of allegiance signed by him with his original subscription thereto is transmitted to the said clerks of privy council.
