Warrand for delyvering up Gight and Meldrum there bonds

Anent the petition given in to the Lords of there majesties privie Councill be John Gordon of Gight and John Urquhart of Meldrum Shewing That where the petitioners being charged to Compear befor there Lordships this sixteint day of Junij instant Conforme to the petitioners bonds of2 Cautione to Compear the saids Lords when called In obedience whereunto The petitioners are come to appear befor the saids Lords And humbly desyres there bonds may be delyvred up to them by the Clerks of Councill In respect the petitioners have taken the benefite of the Indemnity By swearing the oath of alleadgeance to there majestyes which with there originall subscriptiones is returned to the Clerks of Councill As the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of there majestyes privie Councill Haveing considered this petition Given in to them be the above John Urquhart of Meldrum and John Gordon of Gight They hereby give order and warrand to the Clerks of Councill to delyver up to the petitioners the above bonds granted be them and there Cautioners viz the bond granted be the said John Urquhart of the dait the Fyfth day of march Jaj vjc nyntie one years and the bond granted be the said John Gordon the nynteint day of Februarij the said year In respect the petitioner hes taken the benefite of there majestyes act of Indemnity And that the oath of alleadgeance signed be them and there originall subscriptiones thereto is transmitted to the saids Clerks of privie Councill

Warrant for delivering up Gight and Meldrum their bonds

Concerning the petition given in to the lords of their majesties’ privy council by John Gordon of Gight and John Urquhart of Meldrum showing that, where the petitioners being charged to appear before their lordships this 16 June instant according to the petitioners’ bonds of caution to appear [before] the said lords when called, in obedience whereunto the petitioners have come to appear before the said lords and humbly desire their bonds may be delivered up to them by the clerks of council in respect the petitioners have taken the benefit of the indemnity by swearing the oath of allegiance to their majesties which with their original subscriptions is returned to the clerks of council as the said petition bears. The said lords of their majesties’ privy council, having considered this petition given in to them by the above John Urquhart of Meldrum and John Gordon of Gight, they hereby give order and warrant to the clerks of council to deliver up to the petitioners the above bonds granted by them and their cautioners, viz: the bond granted by the said John Urquhart on 5 March 1691 and the bond granted by the said John Gordon on 19 February the said year, in respect the petitioner has taken the benefit of their majesties’ act of indemnity and that the oath of allegiance signed by them and their original subscriptions thereto are transmitted to the said clerks of privy council.
