Warrand for letters of horning at the instance of the poor merchants of Glasgow

Anent a Petition given in to the Lords of their Majesties Privy Councill be the poor Decayed merchants and mariners belonging to the city of Glassgow and their Collectors in their name Shewing That quher the petitioners haveing formerly raised letters of horning before the Lords of Privy Councill in the late government upon ane mortificatione granted by the persones therin mentioned dated in January Jaj vjc Eightie Seven Wherby they mortifie and dispone to the poor decayed merchants and mariners belonging to the city the soume of Eight pences scots money for each punds scots of Wages that should be earned and winn be the saids Mochfiers, as the said Mortificatione and letters of horning raised therupon dated at Edinburgh the twentie fourth day of January Jaj vjc Eightie Eight years Showen to the saids Lords would testifie And it being necessary and Just that the petitioners should have the samen letters renewed In their majesties names for the more speedy inbringing of the soumes so mortified for the use intended Conforme to the said mortificatione And Therfore Humbly Craveing for reneweing the saids letters of horning to the effect forsaid quhich is most agreeable to the saids Lords Justice as the said Petition bears, The Lords of their majesties privy Councill haveing Considered this petition given in to them be the above poor Decayed merchants and mariners and letter of horning mentioned therein And produced therwith with the letters of mortification quherupon the horning is raised, and Finding that all the persones against whom the horning is raised are subscryvers of the mortifications They heirby Give order and warrand to the Clerks of privy Councill To give out new letters In names of their Majesties King William and Queen Mary in the same termes with the former horning.
