Act and recomendatione Laird of Bruxes tenents accompts

The Lords of his majesties privie Councell haveing considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the countrie bearing that the comittie haveing considered the accompts given in to them as resting be his majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the persons therin named tenents to the Laird of Brux with the instructiones and verificationes therof they find That ther were two or thrie of the articles of the said accompt Stated at too high prices And therfore they have modified and restricted the samen And finds the haill articles of the said accompt sufficiently verified and proven be the oathes and depositiones of the saids tenents taken befor two of the comissioners of supply within the shyre of Aberdeen Conform to the comissioners report subsribed be them write upon the end of the said accompt Which accompt and report were both produced to and considered by the said comittie And finds that conforme to the said accompt and instructiones ther is resting be his Majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the saids Laird of Brux his tenents the Soumes following Viz be the Deceast Earle of Marr his regiment of foot The Soume of Four hundereth and threttein punds six shilling eight pennies Scotts Item be the deceast Lord Angus his regiment of foot Twa Hundereth fourscore seventyne punds ten shilling Scotts Item by The deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragounes Thrie hundereth and two punds sixtein shilling eight pounds Item be The Earle of Annandale his troupe of horse Fourtie nyn punds ten Shilling Item by The Lord Belhaven his troupe of horse fourtein pund Scotts Item be The Lord Rollo his troupe of horse fourtein pund Scotts Item be The Master of Polwarth his troupe of horse seven pund Scots Extending the haill soumes forsaids resting be his Majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twelve punds thrie Shilling four pennies Scotts to The Laird of Brux his tenents And finds that the haill articles wherof this Last soume as made up were all furnished preceeding the sixth day of February Jaj vic nyntie one yeirs And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this current parliament intituled act for polemoney and proclamationes of Counsell relative therto And Therfor It is ther opinion that the forsaid Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twentie punds thrie Shilling four pennies is to be payed to the said Laird of Brux his tenents out of the pole money And that they are to be recomended to the Comissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money for payment of the Same accordingly As the said report bears The said Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the above report They heirby approve therof And recomends to the comissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the said Laird of Brux his tenents of the said Soume of Ane Thousand Ane Hundereth and twelve punds two Shillings four pennies Scotts money And that out of the said polemoney

The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting by his majesties forces to the Countrie beareing that the comittie haveing considered the accompts given to them as resting be his majesties forces upon Scotts pay to William Dumbar maister or keeper of the magazin at Bamff with the instructiones and verificationes therof They find the haill articles of the saids accompts Sufficiently verified and proven befor the comissioners of Supply within the Shyre of Bamff Conforme to the comissioners reports upon the end of the saids accompts Subscribed be them beareing the accompts to be the Just and true accompts of the particular recepts and qwantities of corn and straw furnished owt of the said magazin be the said William Dumbar maister or keeper therof and by the countrie at his desyre, truly compared Sein and revised by the Saids comissioners and attested to be true and reall recepts of corn and Straw receaved be the officers and gentlemen of the troupes therin contained which accompts with the Saids reports written upon the end therof And Severall of the saids recepts were all produced to and considered by the said comittie And finds that conforme to the saids accompts and verificationes therof which are all for corn and straw at Six pund Scotts per boll being the price appointed be the saids comissioners Ther is resting be his majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the said William Dumbar the Soumes following viz by the deceast Lord Cardross his regiment of Dragownes the Soume of Eight Hundereth and eightie Six pund Seventyne Shilling Six pennies Scotts Item be The Laird of Edinglassie his troupe of horse the Soume of Ten punds Six Shilling four pennies Scotts Item by The Lord Bellhaven his troupe of horse the Soume of Eight Eight2 Hundereth and threttie punds Scotts extending the haill Soumes forsaids resting be his majesties forces upon Scotts pay to the said William Dumbar to the Soume of Ane Thousand Seven hundereth and tuentie Seven pund thrie Shilling ten pennies money foirsaid And finds that the haill articles wherof this Last Soume is made up uere all furnished preceeding the first day of february Jaj vic nyntie one yeirs And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth session of this current parliament intituled act for polemoney and proclamationes of Counsell relative therto And finds that by ane act of the Lords Commissioners of his majesties thesaurie Dated the Eighteenth of March Jaj vic nyntie ane yeirs The then generall receavers were appointed to pay the said soume And by a declaratione under hands of the saids generall receavers that they have not payed the same which act and Declaratione were both produced to and considered be the said comittie And therfor the said comittie are of opinion that the said Soume of Ane thousand Seven hundereth and twentie seven pund thrie Shilling ten pennies Scotts is to be payed to the said William Drumbar out of the polemoney imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie yeirs And that he is to be recommended to the comissioners of parliament appointed anent the forsaid polemoney for payment of the same to him accordingly As the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties of privie Counsell haveing considered the above report They heirby approve therof And recomends to the comissioners of parliament appointed anent the pole money imposed anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the said William Drumbar of the said Soume of Ane Thowsand Seven Hundereth twentie Seven pund thrie Shilling ten pennies Scotts And that out of the said pole money.

The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing of the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the countrie Beareing that the comittie haveing considered two accompts given to them as resting be The Earle of Argulls regiment which was upon Scotts pay The ane therof to the tenents of Skulog in the Shyre of Boot And the other to the inhabitants of the burgh of Rothsay in the Same Shyre with the instruments and verificationes of both the accompts They find ther are some articles in the saids accompts are not in the termes of the act of parliament Jaj vic and nyntie thrie and proclamations of Counsell relative therto And Therfor they have refwsed and rejected thir articles and that ther are others stated above the rates alloued by the privie Counsell And therfore they have restricted these articles to the Councells rates and Stated them accordingly And finds the articles of the saids accompts restricted as said is Sufficiently verified and proven by the oaths and depositiones of the pairties furnishers taken befor two of the comissioners of Supply within the said Shyre Conforme to the comissioners reports on the end of the saids accompts beareing that ther depositiones were taken befor them Which accompts and reports was produced to and considered by the comittie And finds that conforme therto ther is yet resting be the said Earle of Argwyle his regiment to the saids tenents of Skulog the Soume of Seventyne punds twelve Shilling Scotts And to the inhabitants of the said burgh of Rothsay The Soume of Ane Hundereth and fiftie six punds Sixtein Shilling Scotts And finds that the articles wherof ther two Soumes are made up of are all furnished preceeding february Jaj vic nyntie one And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth Session of this current parliament and proclamationes of Counsell relative therto And therfor it is the comitties opinion that the same is to be payed out of the pole money imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie And that the tenents are to be recommended to the comittie of parliament appointed anent the said polemoney for payment of the Same accordingly And finds it Sufficiently verified and proven be recept under the hand of Leivtenent Robert Campbell that ther is resting to James Stewart collector of the Supply in Buteshyre The Soume of Two hundereth and Seventie thrie punds Scotts advanced be him out of the five moneths Supply payable at Mertimes Jaj vic nyntie yeirs for defraying the expensses of severall Souldiers at the Shillens two Serjeants at nyn Shilling and two corporalls at Six Shilling per diem All of the said Earle of Argwyles regiment And finds by the oath of the said James Stewart taken befor two comissioners of Supply in the said Shyre that the said Soume is not allowed in the cess nor no pairt therof payed conforme to the oath of the date the tuentie fifth day of February Last bypast produced and considered be the comittie And therfore it is ther opinion that the Soume is also to be payed out of the said polemoney imposed in anno nyntie thrie And that the said James Stewart is to be recomended to the said comittie of parliament for payment therof And finds that ther is resting be Robert Campbell Livetenent in Ueseterkames his company to Robert Wallace Messinger in Rothsay The Soume of nyn punds two Shilling four pennies be his ticket of the Eightein day of december Jaj vic and nyntie yeirs And it is the comitties opinion that it be recommended to the said comittie of parliament to make payment of the Same to the said Robert Wallace In case ther Shall be any arreirs found resting to the said Leivtenent out of the polemoney of the haill accompts resting be the forces to the countrie is payed furth therof and no other wayes As the said report beares The said Lords of his majesties privie Counsell heirby approve of the said report And recomends the comissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the persones mentioned in the said report of the respective Soumes due to them Specified therin And in the termes therof And that owt of the said polemoney
